well i went to the toilet and wiped and there was brown blood and i cant help but worry. i saw my baby last wednesday and everything was perfect and baby measuring at 11 weeks so this has scared me.i had a mmc 7 months ago so cant help worrying. so was wondering if anyone could help me and reassure me in some way. thankyou for reading ladies x

Hello there,
if it's not heavy, not bright red,and you're not getting any cramping, try not to worry yourself too much, but perhaps, for peace of mind, maybe pop along to see your doctor and mention it.I had bleeding/spotting twice with this pregnancy, and was terrified that i would have another mmc,but spotting, and, suprisingly, even bleeding,is quite common.
It's very,very hard to not worry,but,if it's light spotting,and not bright red,and doesn't get any worse,try to hold out until monday:hugs:

Sorry hun i agree with lady above though i am sure everythings fine though xoxox

I had a bleed at 7 and then again at 11 weeks, just give your midwife a call on monday morning and if there is any more bleeding go to A&E over weekend :hugs: im sure with your history they'll be happy to check you and bubs over hun x

thanks ladies its only been the one time and just been again and nothing its normal. thankyou for your replies as they have reassured me alot and i am taking it easy and just going to do nothing all weekend. i have my 12 week scan next friday so hopefully it will show everything is ok. x

I hope all is hun, i remember you from ttcal and loss section :hugs: hope all is ok, but if your really worrying just go to the hospital, fingers crossed you wont have any more bleeding etc. x

thanks honey and i remember you too! im so pleased its going well for you hun x i have stopped worrying as it happened at 1pm and had nothing since and worrying does not help!! x

i bled last night and went to epu today as my dating scan was booked in for next week. they scanned me today and baby was fine, they said they could see no reason for the bleeding.
But they did say majority of bleeding/brown cm is from cervix not your womb or baby xx

thankyou hun that has really reassured me.it was proper brown like old blood and its only been the once and got no pains or anything else. you really have helped me so much and im so pleased everything is ok with you x

yeah same as mine was hun, i wouldnt worry too much unless you have any pain, if it doesnt stop in next day or 2 ring your midwife anyway xxxx

Just wanted to let you know that I had exactly this too when I was pregnant - I think the first time was around your stage and then I had it again about 16 weeks.

It was just on my knickers though rather than when I wiped, but I'm guessing probably about the same sort of amount.

I was told it's very common to get old blood dislodged when the baby starts to wriggle about a little bit and as long as it's not bright red and there is no cramping, not to worry. I phoned the maternity unit both times it happened, and neither time did they worry or want to see me that night, unless it turned bright red or had cramping.

I did go up to the maternity unit next day both times to hear the heartbeat for reassurance.

well you have really helped me!! i have been in bed since it happened and going to stay there over weekend just to be on safe side. got my scan on friday but had one last week and baby was perfect and i have very close to the sonographer so she said if i had any problems to pop up there and see her so if get any more blood i will go and see her x
