needing reassurance for 1st pregnancy

I'm a nervous wreck bc I feel like everything I've read has indicated losing the baby on the first pregnancy. For those who have gone full term or are far along on their FIRST pregnancy, would you share with me? Thank you ! I'm 6 weeks and don't have my first appt until after thanksgiving.

Please don't freak out!! And don't read to much into what you see please!!! I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first child and had a very stressful and trying time with that pregnancy due to outside problems, and I went pretty much full term with him..and I now have a happy and healthy rambunctious 8 year old little boy!!!

well all get worried from time to time.. weather its our 1st, 2nd or 3rd but it happens and we go though it seeing the baby is fine and i now have 2 children... i am alittle worried about this but i dont read up or google every problem i just talk to friends and get help with it

my first pregnancy went fine and i didnt have any problems at all except she was 2 weeks late she was so comfy in there lol

All my friends had perfect first pregnancies. One had MCs afterwards. I only know one person that had an mc with her first preg.

PS sometimes I think that before the internet I'd have been basing my expectations on the experiences of those directly around me and they have all been really positive, so I'd probably be far less worried!

I totally agree. The Internet is a wonderful resource but I definitely worry more having knowledge of all the things that could go wrong.

My first pregnancy was unplanned, didn't realise I was pg, smoked and drank until I found out at 5 weeks pg and had a beautiful healthy boy who is now 7 yrs old!! My 2nd pg I had a MC but on my 3rd now with strong heartbeat and bean seen on scan so fingers crossed What will be will be, don't stress - more women than not have healthy first pregnancies. Relax and enjoy yours! xx
