negative before positive?

This isn't an announcement but I thought maybe this would be the best place to get an answer.I am currently 5 days late and at 1 and 2 days late I tested BFN. My doctor told me to wait ten days and test again. I just wanted to hear everyone's stories and see if anyone had tested negative before testing positive?

I wast late. It I was tested at the doctors 3 days before missed period and was told defs not.

Got bfp at 1 day late
