hi just a quick question, I had my booking in appointment yest and I've just been going through my notes, it says that I have negative antibody Titre????????? Does this mean that I will have to have the needles later on in preg???? Thanks for your advice :hugs:

my mom had it, and was high risk with both of her daughters (I included) - it's not always a bad thing.. and it's not well known.. best thing you can do is ask your doctor!

I'm guessing the notes were your lab results? Typically a negative antibody titer means that whatever antibody they were testing for wasn't present in the blood sample. If you are Rh-negative and your partner is Rh-positive then they were probably testing for the presence of antibodies against Rh-positive blood. So the fact that the titer came back negative is a good thing, and means you won't need the shot until 28 weeks (that's the standard here anyway).

If you don't know what your blood type is, you should probably call them and find out :)
