She went in last night (June 1st). She was being induced, so they gave her a pill that helps start the thinning of the Cervix.
11:00pm: They gave her the pill to help the thinning of her cervix, they took her blood and she is 1cm. Also they gave her some medicine to help her sleep.
June 2nd
12:52am: "I'm having contractions once right after the other" they also gave her Stadol (a drug put in through the IV to make the contractions barable)
2:00am: She is almost 2cm, and the contractions have calmed down a bit.
6:54am: Finally made completly to 2cm and started the pitocin. Also she is 80% thinned out.
9:04am: She is 3cm and they broke her water.
10:44am: She got her epidural and is 100% effaced and felling a lot better now!
Update #1:
2:38pm: She is 4cm and progressing slowly and the doctors are saying that if she doesn't progress anymore by 3:30 they will have to do a c-section because it looks like the baby may be to big for her. She said she is going to tell the doctor she wants to wait longer though to see if she can do it. So we will see.
Update #2:
4:19pm: She has had no progress and is waiting for her doctor.
4:40pm: She is having a c-section in an hour, but will check for progress right before to see if it is still needed since she really wants to have a vaginal delivery.
8:10pm: Baby Riley is HERE!!! She was born June 2nd at 6:36pm weighing 8 pound 5 ounces and 18 inches long via c-section. Waiting for pictures, but she's still recovering.
