Nesting nightmare.

So our house has been cluttered since the day we moved in. I've been nesting a hell of a lot to the point where EVERYTHING has been rearranged and cleaned, polished and put back all neatly. I was never this bad with my first baby. It's got to the point where I'll get on my hands and knees and scrub our floor with my hands, this started waaaaaay before I broke the mop......
If I sit down I go stir crazy and find little things to rearrange such as ornaments next to me. I detail clean EVERYTHING! Anyone else this bad?

yes, i do the whole house all the time, i am terrible, every time my husband comes home he starts going off on one as i have moved smething or thrown something. his mum has started calling me Mrs mop!!!

I get my hair off with my MiL when she "helps" it's less tidying more rearranging our house to how SHE wants it to look. If we're stacking newspapers in a cupboard to use for our mice bedding she'll bin it without asking, move all my ornaments to suit herself and then move EVERYTHING so when we need something we can't find it. OH has told her NOT to clean up when she comes round and because I'm nesting and the house is now spotless she's getting annoyed because it means she can't "clean up" and have a nosy at everything lol.

Oh I wish my nesting instinct would kick in lol I'm still waiting!

Now the boys are back at school this week I'm going to try to de-clutter my house and get ready for bubs before I get too big!!!

I've been overly fussy with cleaning, like with the dog, i sweep and mop the floor then she shakes and a few hairs come out and then im off sweeping again. Bits just wind me up lol.

I think the mutt does it on purpose!

Yes I've been nesting! I took a planned day off work the other day just so I could clean out my spare room which is now the nursery. Look out cupboards here I come! And I'm constantly moving ornaments, photos etc coz they never look 'just right'.

I thought this happens closer to your due date?

I dunno, with my first baby I was nesting all the time it just increased nearer the due date. We've been told to expect this baby anytime because I've lost my mucus plug and I'm only 29 weeks gone today. Later on (it's midnight) I'm going to end up cleaning our room (dirty clothes everywhere) and hang all the clean clothes up then I'll be forced to take a few days off lol. On Tuesday I've got a scan and on wednesday we're off to see a friend lol. After I've got our room finished I've sorted the whole house out, well tidied every room, which'll let me keep on top of everything and then I can start to rearrange cupboards etc lol.

I'm in nesting overdrive, I do a couple of hours a day, I've pulled out all my clothes from the wardrobe and organized them and scrubbed and cleaned everything. Teenager bedroom days r over for me now.
