ok so i dont really know what to buy bubba for christmas, i don't want him to go without because it will be his first christmas, but he will be so young i dont know what to get..

I'd probably go for things he'll "grow into"... like 3m+ and 6m+ toys?

or how about a nice snuggly personalised fleece taglet blanket? (hahaha ok - that was a shameless plug for my own wares! *retracts comment*)

I think something personalised is actually a good idea. I've got my boy a bumbo that he'll grow into, and thinking about getting him a personalised wall plaque and stocking. I'm sure there'll be other things too!

for tommys first xmas he was 2 months old so too young to really appreciate it.
I decided to begin some xmas memories, we bought him a santa sack with his name embroidered on and every year we will tell him santa brings it and a little while after christmas we can leave it with his stocking for santa to take away.
We also got his a personalised christmas storybook that i will read to him every christmas eve and tell him santa brought for him on his very first.
:) xxx

G was 4 months last year so didn't understand presents etc. We got him things he "needed" anyway for the most part :) - a bumbo, door bouncer, couple of clothing things, couple of books... Also some memory things like a 1st Christmas bauble & vest. My parents bought his highchair for him at our request

I tried not to go mad & also put some money into his savings account, he got plenty of toys & more clothes (that my petite bo is yet to grow into ) etc off other people - tbh if I'd try to buy toys in advance we'd probably have ennded up with duplicates.

I hinted as strongly as I could to MIL that we wanted a push along walker for him to grow into, she and I had a big converstiob about types we liked and what did she buy him.... Bookends! :dohh:

With DS we got him a little keep sake (DH bought something for me to open and I bought something for him to open) New baby will be around 3months at christmas and getting alot of recycled toys from when DS was little but she will get a couple of new custom nappies (we are using cloth)

I'll be getting my lil one this https://www.argos.co.uk/static/Prod...1/1|category_root|Toys+and+games|14417629.htm

If you look in argos toys birth-1 year they have loads of toys, stacking blocks, soft books etc xx

LO will be about 7 weeks and were getting her a playmat, some ugg boots, a football kit (from daddy) and probs just bigger clothes and some toys for when she's about 6-12 months. My best friend has a little boy who will be 11 months and i am buyin him a walker and she is buying LO a bouncy chair. Just buy things that are needed but you would of been buying earlier and wrap them hun x
