I agree I think a baby is enough of a gift after all its us that do all the hard work! I'm sure my oh will be happy enough with a son xxx

lol - I was a little shocked when someone first asked me what I was getting him... "a son... what else could he want??" I guess they can feel a little left out and it helps?

I'm not sure my OH will notice. I'm due to give birth around mothers day and I told him he has to get me a card and he kind of cringed. I may just buy him ear plugs and a sleeping mask as a joke present.

We're loving and happy but we're not big on romantic gestures.

I've got dh a 'Baby Manual' book as a joke off Amazon, some ear plugs! bibs and a car sign from the football team he supports club shop. I'm planning on giving them to him at the hospital! He's getting tons of stuff for Christmas too so I just thought a few little things would make him smile!

Ha i'm with you hun, he's getting a son and 33 months ago he got a daughter! I'm a busy woman and i've managed that in under 3 years What more could he possibly want?
