help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
My husband and I have been trying for our first baby together, (both of us have had children in our previous marriages) for approximately 5 years. We are both 38 years old and have never had fertility issues in our past marriages. Since we have been married and have been trying, we have experienced a miscarriage every year. It has been disappointing and embarrassing as we both had no idea how or why we were having problems conceiving. We had this idea that maybe we should have been pregnant a hundred times considering how sexually active we are together. Especially considering we only conceived at most, once per year.
There have been times where I would get a positive result from a pregnancy test and the very same or next day, my period would come. The whole act of waiting, praying and testing has been devastating and depressing to say the least. My husband and I have incessantly searched for articles and journals where people have tried a more natural approach to the traditional Chinese medicinals. We have tried Vitex, Acupuncture, Ovulation Kits, Progesterone Creams and nothing worked.
About two months ago, I read an article about the oldest remedy in the book, dating back to biblical times. It talked about cinnamon and honey. Supposedly, cinnamon and honey helps strengthen the uterus and prepares it for conception in many ways. The honey is high in nutrients infusing the uterus with much needed essentials and cinnamon helps clean and warm the system, also acts as a body anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-everything bad, among other things.
My husband and I were in California in late September,2013 for a business trip and came across a farmers market off the pacific coast where they sold fresh honey from a local bee farm. I purchased a large jar of the honey and once I returned home, mixed (without measurement) an awful amount of cinnamon and honey together and took a tablespoonful. I thought it would be horrible to taste, but surprisingly it was amazing! It was not too sweet and not too harsh. I figured that I could keep up with this until I found the next fertility article.
I religiously took a tablespoonful a day for several weeks. My husband, curious about the benefits of my concoction decided to start taking it too. In November we became pregnant (praying this one stays) and have been going on strong, (currently at 9 weeks).
Our past miscarriages did not allow for more than a day or two after a positive test.
We are now hopeful and are curious about the cinnamon and honey mixture and it's benefits.
I don't know how many other people have been using cinnamon and honey but my husband and I believe that after 5 years of trying, this little bit of something new may be what has helped.
Please read up about it. It's worth a try.
Mel
