New here! No period since off ocps

Hello! This is my first post and I am ttc baby #1. I went off birth control pills 3 months ago and have been very actively trying since then. I have yet to have a period yet though and still not pregnant. I understand it can take a few months to get your period back and ovulate but is it too soon to maybe just get my hormone levels tested and establish a relationship with a obgyn? Or get my period induced at least? Its sooo frustrating not knowing when ill ovulate or have a period.

Also, I had irregular periods my whole life and I guess that makes me more nervous waiting for a period that may or may not come soon

Personally I'd say go visit your doctor. 3 months without a period is too long. I'll note that, depending on your doctor, you may still get asked to wait longer, or you may get treated. If you live in the US and don't have coverage, you might consider asking a nurse if you really need to go, too.
