Hi! I am 19 years old and have been happily married for 6 months. (June 21st, 2014). I have been with my husband since July 15th, 2010.

I started the depo in Sept of 2010 or 2011, can't remember the year. I got my last shot on December 8th, and I wish I hadn't. We have decided we want to try for a baby, for sure. We were on the fence before I got my shot, which is why I got it.

Of course, I've been lurking all over the internet and hearing both good and bad stories about the depo shot, ugh. BUT, I am in no rush & hope it's not TOO painful of a journey to get myself back on track.

I started the depo due to really bad menstrual cramping and flows to the point of sickness. I sometimes get about 3 days of light spotting, so I kind of know when my last "cycle" would have been. I downloaded an app called "P.D." to help start tracking everything.

SINCE I recently got my shot, should I wait until I'm over-due for my next shot to take any jumpstart things like prenatals, etc? What are thoughts on trying to "jumpstart" AF?

Can't wait to chat more with everyone!

You can start folic acid at any time, they recommend a year before TTC but I didn't start taking mine until 8 weeks ish as I wasn't TTC as I was on the pill (beautiful surprise)
Try not to focus on the horror stories to muxh, there are horror stories about everything on the internet as not many people come online to share good things its usually asking for advice xx
