Hi. Just thought I'd introduce myself. This is my second month ttc for my first child. I am 22 and my partner is 23. We are from Ireland. I ccame off bc so it's hard to chart. The first month after coming off bc my cycle was 28 days as usual but the next month it was a week late. Due my period today and no sign of it... going to wait another few days before I test in case it's just being late again. Super excited though. Nice to meet all of you. Would really like to get to know people who I can relate to. Would love to hear your stories.

It took me a while for my periods to regulate after coming off bc. I had a few weird ones, 26 days, 42 days, 44 days etc. Before I finally settled on 30-31 days. Took about 6 cycles I think
fx it doesn't take that long for you! After could just be late but let's hope there's another reason she's not shown!

I couldn't wait and took a test today but it was negative :/

Hi there! Welcome. I'm not exactly in the same boat as you but I know how nice it is to have support buddies on here and get some advice and well, support.

I'm 40 and trying for my first. My and my fiance were NTNP for a year and got pregnant but that ended in an MC. We've been trying actively for another year but finally resigned ourselves to a Fertility Specialist. He has the personality of a dead fish and I call him. Dr. Frozen Turkey. He wants us to try fertility meds and IUI next month. I'm kind of nervous but also excited to try something more aggressive. Dr. Turkey couldn't really find anything "wrong" with me and the fiance besides our age.

But even though we're not on the exact same path, I know how hard this journey is. I've been on it for two years. The hardest part for me has been the TWW, just helplessly waiting to see if this is the month we get our BFP. I find it really comforting to post on here and go through the process with other people. I find that it's really hard for other friends and family to relate like the people on here can.

I know the body can take a few cycles to regulate after BC. It took me at least 3. I like to use Ovia and Fertility Friend apps on my phone to track my cycles. After using them for a while they can predict AF to the day. It's amazing. It's also a good tool to chart symptoms, temp (if you do that) and other things. It was a pain in the ass at first but now I have like 11 cycles of data about me. I also like to go on to CountdownToPregnancy and use their "when should I test calculator".

Okay, I'm just babbling now. But I know when I first joined the forum I felt really welcomed. So...welcome and keep us posted on your progress!

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. It feels great to be on this forum and read about people in the same situation as me. Its also good to talk to someone about this besides my partner.

I wish you all the best and hopefully with the help of your doctor (even if he isn't the nicest) and by trying something new that 2015 is a great year for you.

I have been using the app ovuview for the past 2 months and I love it. I sometimes open the app just to stare at the dates ha. A bit obsessed.

And I agree the waiting is horrible it feels like time is going by so much slower for me.

I got a BFN on Friday but my period is still late. Could just be an irregular cycle after coming off bc. I'll text again on Wednesday

Hi there and welcome! I'm pretty new here myself and was also looking for some support and women I could relate to. This is month 10 for us and had a couple chemicals earlier on. I never would have guessed what a difficult journey I had begun 10 months ago but everything has it's time and place and I've been focusing on staying healthy and happy :) Best wishes to you and hopefully there will be some sticky babies for us all soon <3
