Hi My name is Madeline I prefer to be called Maddie, I am 15 years old and I recently found out that I'm pregnant with my first child. I am 14 weeks pregnant and I only found out that i was expecting when i went to see my doctor with as i was having a lot of pain in my lower abdomen and when he examined me he asked if there was any possibility if i could be pregnant. I have been having sex over the last 6 months and we have been using condoms so I told him unlikely.

He then suggested that he did a pregnancy test and arranged for me to go for an ultrasound. The pregnancy test came back positive which suprised me and later the same week i went for a scan, it turned out that i was 10 weeks pregnant. So far i've hidden my pregnancy from my parents and friends as up until i'm not shown but i'm getting bigger everyday and I've now got a slight bump. I think i will need some bigger clothes soon as my current ones are getting tight especially round the tummy area.

Maddie.

is this for real or just spam bull like i used to see in the 1st trimester constantly???

considering that your 15... your mom probably took you too that doctors appt. and knows everything. dont know how much of this i believe....

If this is real, there is a teen pregnancy forum on here that might be better for you so check that out. I'm sorry your in this position, since you're so young and it was unplanned, i hope you get the education you need about all your options and please tell your parents soon because you're going to need good medical care...plus you arent going to be able to hide it forever, so the earlier you tell them the truth the better.

hi hun and welcome to bnb congrats on your baby weather they were planned or not babies are a blessing. When are you planning on tell your parents. I recomend from experience the sooner you tell them the better you will feel and you can start your prenatal care. There is also a teen pregnancy forum on here that you might find they help you out alot toO!!. If you need anything dont hesitate to ask me.

If she's from the uk and indipendant she might of gone by herself I was going to the doctors by myself at 15. There would usally be a lot more symptoms at 14 weeks though and why post it on the internet before even confiding in a close friend? Am a tad suspicious but if you wanna talk pm me I'm 17 and nearly 23 weeks pregnant.

In Australia we can go to the doctors on our own from any age.. some doctors encourage you to go in without your mum etc... But up until the age of 16 parents can ask to view medical files.

Welcome to BnB! Check out the teen pregnancy forum, I am sure a lot of girls could give you great advice.

To other posters, in the US if you are under 18, but over 13, you can go to the doctors without your parent's permission or acknowledgment regarding birth control, pregnancy, and things like that.
