We would buy pre-owned games and stuff, I was looking at 2nd hand I-pods when I wanted one but oh bought me one, but if he hadn't of then I would have got a pre-loved one . I don't see anything wrong with it at all x

hey chick dont feel bad i buy alot of things from ebay i have got alot of brand new tuff but also alot of bargains ie i bought a xbox 360 for my 5 yr old twins and alot of the computer games too as long as it works no probs at all xxx

No, i've never bought Aidan 2nd hand stuff. Just personal preference I suppose. But if money was tight then I would. Ive got my OH a 2nd hand xbox game though for christmas, its an old classic game for £39.99 brand new, or a tenner 2nd hand

I buy loads of stuff second hand, we don't have loads of money and getting things second hand means he can have lots more than he would have gotten otherwise.

Exactly! My grown up kids actually prefer me to buy things like computer games, DVDs, CDs etc from ebay because then they get so many more presents than they would do otherwise

I do, and I want my kids to know about it so they learn that recycling is good, and they don't have to pay full price for stuff! I bought a few toys for xmas that are absolutely immaculate, why pay more? You should be proud of being such a bargain hunter!

I haven't for Christmas/birthdays (cause I like to wrap stuff up in it the boxes and that) but I have nothing against buying secondhand otherwise, I bought Elyse's giraffe rocker and bounce n spin zebra for like $20 total.

For games and that I'd totally buy secondhand.. you can get it for so much less and they're usually in good shape. I buy previously viewed DVDs from the video store here too-- I refuse to pay $25-$35 for Disney DVDs so all of mine are from the video store for like $6.99 used lol.

But I WOULD buy Elyse a secondhand gift if I *really* wanted something specific that wasn't in stores anymore or that kinda thing
