**NEW TEST PG 2**Chances of evaps on all these? I'm seeing sh*t right?

I think those cb are 50 miu? I think.. That may be why they aren't getting darker cause your early?

No, it says on the insert that they are 25miu, they are actually really good tests, I'm not getting all the Blue dye hate. I think it's an old thing that maybe used to be true and has just kept being passed around as divine truth, without any concrete evidence of the reason for it. I was really impressed with the effort the CB had put into their packaging and insert. They obviously care, and get the whole TTC frustration and need for clear and accurate answers, it is clearly obvious in reading through their insert, plus they included a coupon for 3 dollars off the next box I buy! AND unlike FRER they are forthcoming of the detection level of their test, it says it right in the insert "25mIU", I still have yet to get FR to give even a round about detection level over more phone calls than I can count..... So....needless to say, I can't join the "blue dye hate club" and think that all these years I have avoiding blue dye like it was the plague was unwarranted and that I might of actually been missing out. I really liked the fact that CB included 3 actual photo's of what a + could look like, including the ever famous "squinter" lol. FR just says if you see a line it's a line and which =s pregnant, no photos. I'm just saying, after all the hate I have heard over the years for blue dye of anykind, I was unexpectedly surprised to see the care and clear to read information provided inside the CB's box.

All that aside, can you see that last line?

BUT I did find this- https://whenmybaby.com/implantation-doubling-calculator.php - SO if I O'd on the 4th then I would just now be getting squinters on a test, esp if I began with a hcg level of 0-3, at 0 it would still be too early to test.... I am starting to have a lot of "early symptoms" so I really think on one hand that the tests are right I'm just testing a little too early for a blazing +, but with all the blue dye hate, it has me doubting myself, worried, and getting depressed. I was SO happy when DH said he could see it too, and then posted and all the hate for Blue dye began, and it quickly burst my bubble of excitement thinking I was seeing the beginning of BFP.....So that's where I'm at, in limbo, and feeling disappointed that others aren't as "happy" about my two blue lines as I initially was..... :(

Ahh hun sorry your bubble is burst :( we're just here to give honest responses and honestly, it's not just "blue dye hate", it's bad experiences with blue dyes, personal experiences. My thoughts on your photo is back a page if you didn't see it.

I hope you're right and the line will darken up.

I have to agree with pp. there is no blue dye hate club. My earliest bfp was in fact on a blue dye this pregnancy. But I have to share my experience that in all the tests ive taken over the years ive had more evap lines on blue dye than any other test. Some have convinced me I was pregnant only to go and get negative bloods. You have chosen to put pictures up for people to have opinions on and you can't be disapointed when people give their honest opinion. It could well be your bfp, but people are sharing their experiences and telling you to be careful to save you from potential heartache if AF should arrive and you have only been getting evaps. My honest option is that in 48 hours you would see progression. My bfp this cycle on a clear blue was so pale you could barely see it. But two days later it was blazing, then went on to get a blaring first response and 1-2 on a digi. You may just be a slow starter, I'm crossing my fingers for you but I'm not one to fill ladies with false hope, it's cruel. Hopefully a couple of days time you will have a bfp but don't take it out on the ladies here for being honest with you.

I'm not exactly sure why either of you took what I said personally about the blue dye hate club, bc the comment wasn't directed at either one of you at all. If you took it as hateful, I'm sorry, that's not how I meant to come across. I was simply stating the facts about the test in the other post, and asking a ? as well. An evap is what comes up after a time frame or has no color to it, correct? If the line is there within 3 mins then that wouldn't be an evap? I'm not an "expert" by any means, I'm just trying to figure all this out. I don't have nay exp. with squinters as I was 7 weeks pregnant with my LO when I tested (bc I had irregular cycles so missing a period was not a big deal) and it was BLAZING pos. before the urine even reached the control line, I hadn't even had time to set it on the coutner and let go of it before it was positive, so I know nothing about early testing and all this stuff. All I do know is that just about every one hates on the BLUE dye tests, but I just cant imagine a company being as successful or in business as long as CB has if they had crap tests. That's just my opinion and not directed towards any one. It rained all day yesterday here, so I had no option of natural light or I would of used it. I have a VERY GOOD camera as I am a hobby photographer. All I was asking was if anyone could see what I was seeing and if it seemed darker then previous one's I had posted. Again, sorry for offending you ladies if I did by what I said, I'm just having crazy mood swings, and my post probably came off a bit more bitchy then I intended, which was not at all. Sorry.

I'm not taking it personally, just giving you honesty. And I really think you will understand now why we all hate blue dyes, since you're getting those infamous faint blue lines! They really do your head in. Why are they still in business? I guess because women still purchase the tests. They also advise to use them when your period is due/missed, which I imagine gives a pretty definitive result. They're just not good for early testing.

Also wanted to add that i do think it's great they are forthcoming with the sensitivity level of the tests.

Giggle is right- they are still in business because a large number of woman in the world only test when the are late. They will therefore give a nice clear reliable result at that stage. For early testing? No way.
They are also in business because they make very popular digital tests :)

I understand you want a positive test, but as the other ladies have mentioned there is no blue dye hate club. This did not generate out the blue.

In a way, we are trying to stop you from getting excited over what could possibly be an evap. I hope I am wrong, but I am calling that an evap.

any updates amber? hope you are doing ok!

Thanks for asking though. I think I can see a teeny squinter on one of the acumeds now, but I just ordered like a TON of test on ebay and even got one of the CB OPK monitors for a steal with like months worth of opks with it as well, but i just "feel" pregnant. I think that I may have O'd even later than I had originally thought too...

How recently did you take the last positive opk? Maybe your ovulation was significantly delayed and that was your real ovulation time. I recall a few years back when I got the flu and it pushed my ov'ing back by an entire week.

One thing is certain though, with ov'ing being later than you thought , those lines on the blue dye tests you took most definitely were the (false) faint "positive" looking lines you've heard so much about. So sorry you fell victim to the dreaded false faint positives :( were the new tests you got pink dye? What brand? I've had great experiences with the wondfo brand.

No, I've been taking these for a while and I had a surge at the beginning of the month, then it went down and now it's climbing again, Every one I've taken in the last 5 days has been positive. It's just weird. I don't know how much more weirdness I can take. I'm starting to think that I may have O'd around the 4-9th which would still have me in the ball game. Do you know when ladies are able to see a progression of LH to a BFP if that happens before they get their BFP or if they just kind of coincide each other? Like if these last few days of + lh's are actually picking up hcg, is that possible and how long would it take to actually see a real BFP?

Sometimes you can have a surge and not actually ovulate. Opks can't tell you for sure if you have ovulated, only your body is gearing up to it. Do you take your temps? It's really the only way to confirm ovulation.

For me when taking opks in the tww once I got a bfp then my opks turned positive. Obviously though that's just my experience. Might be different for other ladies. Although I will say in a few cycles I had opks turn very dark but not quite a positive around in the week leading up to AF. But they were accompanied by bfns on hpt's. I mentioned it to my fertility specialist as it confused me and apparently sometimes you can get a lh surge before your period. If I were you though, just in case your having a really delayed o Id get bd'ing.

I took an opk i think on 8 or 9 dpo with my son and it was stark white. I've also got positives right before my period. My understanding, and personal experience, is they are not reliable for pregnancy detection.

If you o'd on the 9th you're def still in with a chance. I'd say you should get in some BD now too just in case you had a very delayed ov.
