New to charting - 5DPO dip.

Hey ladies,

I'm looking for some advice/knowledge. I am 5dpo and this morning I had quite a big temp dip of 0.4C.

I was wondering if any of you know what this means, whether it's important or I should ignore?

Maybe a coincidence but I have also woken with insanely sore boobs and felt a little nauseous.

Good old Google!! I did have a quick search before work but didn't really find out much - seemed to be mixed information.

I don't mind at all! Ya, I first I thought I ovulated again on 5 DPO since I had a temp dip and positive OPKs on 3-4 dpos, EWCM, and SHOW for cervix. But, I emailed my doctor and she told me to use CD 16 as my ovulation date since I've been consistently ovulated on the 16th. So now I am waiting to see what happen. Either I had implantation dip on 10 dpo or I am just 5 dpo and had LC dip. Isn't TTC fun? lol.

Is this your first month temping?

Is it possible you could of had LC Dip and implantation dip?

I did have a read around and apparently the LC dip can cause the symptoms of ovulation to become present again, so maybe that's why you had EWCM on those days? Saying that my CM today has been a mixture of EWCM and creamy.

When are you going to test? I had a really short LP last month, just 8 days but I think it's because I stopped my BC in January, so I'm going to start testing at the weekend.

Yeah I like temping. It confirms at i O every month. I think everything is possible at this point and I'm blaming progesterone for everything haha. I just tested and got a BFN. I'm just going to wait till Monday now. FX you get your BFP this month!

Yeah I like that about temping. Last month I just used opks and still felt a little clueless.

I hope you get your bfp too, your not out yet

Ok. so that might be the LC dip then. FX it'll stay up!!!

I have been crampy for the past 3 days. Temp dropped a little this morning. I think I am not going to temp until after saturday. It's starting to stress me out a bit. Plus, my OB told me to just temp for 3 months then stop temping and just do it! ahhahaha
It's hard to do that since I have a type A personality but I am going to try to follow her suggestion. This month is my 3rd month temping and not going to do it next month.

Any symptoms for you so far?

Yes fx! Only time will tell.

I can understand how it can be stressful, I found just using the opks stressful last month as the tests made it so hard to read the lines, hence why I started temping too.
Hopefully you will get your bfp this cycle and you won't have to worry anymore .

Considering I'm only 6dpo I've noticed a few symptoms which I didn't have last cycle. I've had insanely sore boobs all day today and I can't stop sneezing. This evening I also felt pinching around my left side of my pelvic, it comes and goes. Oh and add on being crazy tired lol.

I actually barely have any symptoms at all this month. Last month I had most of your symptoms but my guess they were because of progesterone. So far, I have cramps from 10 dpo. Yesterday it was mild and today it's a little stronger. Lower backache starting 11 dpo and today, 12 dpo, my upper thigh throb a little. Queasiness got stronger starting 10 dpo and crazy heartburn. That's it so far. 1 more day to go.

I have 1 more month of ttc before we see fertility specialist. So just waiting patiently

With my daughter I had no symptoms at all, I didn't find out I was pregnant until 7 weeks and that's only because I took a random test lol.

Your symptoms are sounding great though and your chart is looking promising!

I still have really sore boobs but not much else to report. Xx

Hi Lucyjo, I have a feeling that I am out this month. Just waiting for AF to show. Unfortunately, I am one of those people whose temp stay up until the day of AF. I usually have sudden drop in my temp most of the temp during AF time.
