New to OPKs - help please!

A little history about me first. My husband and I have been TTC for 10 years. We spent 3 years with our fertility specialist. We went through all the testing and treatments, except IVF. We took close to 2 years off, away from treatments, and have recently decided to go back in April or May of this year. I ordered some OPKs off of Amazon, just to see if I was ovulating on my own. I've been using them 3 days and have been getting mixed results. I will post a picture and hopefully someone more experienced with OPKs can help me! The darkest one I got was this afternoon with SMU. Before then, they were all lighter. I've taken two more tests today and they were lighter than my first test today. I have been having ovary pain (I only have my left ovary and fallopian tube), lower back pain, and my boobs are sore. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

I hope you can see my picture! Is it possible that I my OPK was positive when I took it, for the first time, today? Pinkpad says my fertile time period is 2/14 - 2/20 (with my most fertile day on 2/20).

None of them look positive as yet- I would keep trying and testing for the next few days and you should start seeing them get darker In the same boat! Good luck!!!!

Thanks for responding! I will keep testing until I finally get a positive! Do they normally fluctuate in color before you actually get a positive one? Just wondering why I had light, then dark, then light again. Good luck to you as well!

Ive noticed that they do fluctuate - I heard thats normal though-so confusing sometimes though-and i think it also depends on how sensitive they are. There is a website called pee on a stick and it seems to be a pretty cool tool keep posting and we can help- I hope we get see your positive
