Hi girls,
Well this forum is amazing, stumbled onto this from Google (which is a mine field I have to say when you have a question needing anwered!) and have been engrossed with the posts here. Chuffed to bits reading the success stories and fingers tightly crossed for all the ladies still ttc.
OK so I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice and direction here's my background:
I haven't bad a menstrual cycle for about a year now, my GP referred my to to investigate reasons for this - after ten million blood tests, scans etc no actual reason could be given to my amenorrhea (no period) so was prescribed norethisterone to force a bleed in Sept. This brought on a bleed and was told to wait 3 months to see if my cycle would return. It hasn't. Have since visited the dr and have been prescribed another round of norethisterone to enduce a bleed and then Clomid (50mg to take cd1-5). My questions are:
1) What classes as cd1 - would spotting bloody count or does it have to be full flow?
2) How often should my partner and I have sex?? (I'm not tracking my ovulation - I have to go for a blood test day 21 to see if I've ovulated)
3) If (fingers crossed) I have ovulated and no period, when should I take a test (as I have no regular cycle to know what is 'normal' for me).
Hoping someone can give some guidance

as much as you want. Obviously the more you do it, the better your chances but don't turn it into a chore. 2 or 3 times a week is plenty, it only took one bd last time to catch my eggy!
