Newborn clothes ?

Has anyone else started buying baby clothes yet ?
This is only my first month TTC and I have gone crazy buying baby clothes already !!!

i bought one outfit because i was affraid it wouldnt be there by the time i had a baby, but i got it in 12 months its a christmas one with penguins on it

I wouldnt dare buy a thing until had my first scan, but have lots of friends & family that have recently had babies and are not throwing anything out



Dont believe in buying everything brand new unless ya minted, total waste of money these days especially with people addicted to pram buying selling them on Ebay virtually brand new for half what you'd pay in the shops, plus changing units, cots etc

I brought a cute little outfit on ebay for like £3 with free delivery and it still has tags on. Thing is it's blue, but suppose it doesn't matter...girls can look cute in blue too !

Ebay is SUPER for things

I done the Ebay thing with my youngest got most of his stuff off there, and most of it with tags on! why not! can afford new...but just doesnt fit in my head buying new, when you have Ebay

The way I see it is, when I am losing hope, I will be able to look at the clothes and know why I am putting myself through the heartache of any BFN's I might get.

Aw kels, that stuff is all brilliant!!
We're starting to buy things, and we're gonna put it all in the cupboard under the stairs. It's great to build up the essentials over time, and it's great for PMA!

I need to find a cute little box to put my stuff in.
So far most things I've gotten are either unisex or boyish so I'm now on the hunt for girlie stuff. The cutest thing I've got are some socks with ladybugs on that rattle. So cute. They also do Bee one's which I'm gunna have to get because Bee is my OH's nickname.

I am banking on getting stuff from people in mine and my OH's family so I'm not getting too much. My mum has already told me that when I get pregnant she is going to buy the babies first blanket, it's kinda a tradition.

We're just getting bottles, rattle,s blankets, and unisex clothing. i'm trying to find a cute box too but they are so expensive!!

There are some nice boxes in PaperChase (https://www.paperchase.co.uk/browse...list=icat,4,shop,stationery,sfilingandstorage) but the big ones are usually like £6 ! Not really worth it. I'm going to buy like a file box like the ones in offices, like in TV shows you see them carrying them when they get fired (only way I could describe it lol) and then use wrapping paper, PVA glue and old magazines to decorate it. I sound like something off blue peter. Plus I'm pretty sure I should be working on my Biochemistry Assessment rather than decorating boxes....but it's more fun !

I bought a travel system on ebay when we first started TTC. It was exactly what we wanted (a newer virson of the one we had for DS, which we loved) we paid peanuts for this newer one and wouldn't buy new again but I feel it has bought us bad luck at about the same time I bought a cute outfit which hangs in my wardrobe I'm thinking of getting rid after christmas if I haven't got my BFP and will not be buying anything else until I have had a 12 week scan!!

Even tho i have 2 little men i wouldnt buy outfits for the next baby.it upsets me just looking at their baby clothes so theyre all packed away.
