Hello, everyone! I'm completely new here, and to TTC. My husband and I got married one month ago this Saturday, and were hoping for a honeymoon baby, but my ovulation was off. So this has been our first, true 'go' at it.
My DH is all for having a baby, although nervous. He knows we're trying, but he doesn't know I'm using OPK's, etc. I figure why let him worry? I'll just let him enjoy it :)
So I'm on 6 DPO, if I have calculated correctly. I've been having mild cramping, and today felt fairly ooky. I usually only cramp a few days before AF, who is due on 11/7.
I know I can't test until at LEAST 9 DPO, although I really SHOULD wait til 11/7 if AF doesn't come. But how many of us can wait for that? :)
So.....anyone else in this boat? Still trying to learn all the abbreviations and lingo, etc. I'm not temping yet. I'm thinking I will wait until *IF* this one ends up a BFN before I buy a thermometer and start charting.
Hoping things work out on our first good try! :happydance:

Thanks, Tigerlady. I didn't even know these 2 WW forums existed. One day I was thinking I'd look up what happens in those two weeks, like in your body, and WHAM. Here's all these other women waiting to find out, and it's called the 2 WW LOL Yay! I'm not alone :)
I'm trying to be fairly objective about what I'm feeling. Also, since this is my first month really paying attention to my body, for all I know this could all be completely normal. Who knows!

In case you haven't found it yet...

    https://www.babyandbump.com/forum-help-testing-area/730-babyandbump-lingo-abbreviations.html

will give you many of the translations. And being new or an old hand doesn't seem to make much difference with understanding what our bodies are doing... no matter how much we break it all down to science, our bodies still manage to confound us on a regular basis!!

But whatever ?s, concerns, or rants you have, we all listen. :)
