night feeds at 5 months

For a while now (more than a month) LO has been consistently waking every 2-3 hours at night for feeds. Sometimes she does skip the first night feed. I've tried not feeding her and she won't settle. She also does her "I'm so hungry I can't wait another second while you pull your shirt down mommy" cry. I'm becoming more and more sleep deprived. On the bad nights I bring her to bed with me to help us both sleep more.

I'm wondering if this is normal or if I've allowed her get used to eating so much at night.

Sounds just like my LO to be honest. He did start sleeping for 6-8 hour stretches between 6 and 8 months, but this last week he's gone to pot and it's every 3 hours again. I'm exhausted. I'm just living in hope that one day he'll shock us and sleep through!
