OH's snoring is driving me mad!! He had ago at me last night for fidgeting and now he's snoring his bloody head off!!
Woke him up and told him to lay on his side, and got my head bit off! Saying he can't help what he does in his sleep.
Got to be up at 7am, and I know I wont sleep on the sofa, yet have no chance in bed :/
Might aswel be tired on here then lay in the dark

Make him sleep on the sofa!
:hugs:

I told him to! but all I got was "I work 12hour shifts 6nights in a row, im stopping in my bed"

Yeh im not 4months pregnant or anything and have trouble getting comfy in bed, never mind on the sofa :/

:hugs: What a nob he is!!! Sorry hun, hope you manage some sleep

best is, I remember him complaining to me, because his ex started sleeping on the sofa when she was pregnant. You'd think he'd have learned but I guess not!
MEN...

ar wish we had a down stairs toilet :(

Oh, significant other's snoring! My husband does this terribly. Luckily, we have a spare room and he's been gracious enough to stay there while I am pregnant. He says, "You need your rest!" However, waking him up when he WAS in with me was a nightmare. He wouldn't wake all the way and became a complete MONSTER. Yikes! I hope you get something worked out so you can get some rest.

Darling, you have the same right to sleep as he does, why doesn't he try one of those pharmacy strips for your nose "breath right" or something like that? I've notice hubby snores more when he's extra tired, but he still rolls over and says sorry and has even gotten up to sleep on the sofa when I've told him to role over too many times. He also apologises and feels really embarrassed so it goes to show not all men are the same and yours is a bit selfish in that way. I understand 12h shifts/6nights is probably for the familys sake but still, it doesn't mean you aren't entitled to sleep. I'd have a chat with him and get something from the pharmacy. Good luck hun.

He never used to snore....only these past few weeks, or maybe he did but I slept straight through it.
At least I only have to put up with it for a few nights, its the first time we've slept in the same house but in different places :(

I think id have been better off in bed tho, the cat's flaming worse!!

I have the exact same problem hun i seem to be sleeping lighter and all he seems to do is snore or make stupid noises its driving me mad if i try to get him to move he just fidgets and stays where he is Argggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh xxx

I got back in bed, ended up with an hours sleep! When I got to sleep, he woke me up, said my elbow sticking in his back :/ It will be sticking in his face if I have to put up with another night of snoring!

Make lots of noise and bounce around in bed. Piss him off and maybe he'll go and sleep on the sofa if it happens again tonight.

My bf will wake me up for snoring then roll over and snore himself. Bleh him lol

Well last night i had a good sleep, not sure about OH tho.
He suggested this morning that he'd get his camping mats from his parents and sleeping bag and sleep on the bedroom floor, I feel really bad about it but it's better then me sleeping on the sofa or us both having sleepless nights, I know I wont like him not being in bed with me tho :(

Maybe we could just get them, then we have them just incase we need them :)

I have been sleeping in our spare room most nights as my oh is really peeing me off during the night at the moment. He is either snoring, which sounds like there are 100 grunting pigs in the bed or he is taking up the whole frickin bed. Honestly, he knows how hard I am finding it at the moment even getting to sleep because I have really bad back ache at the moment. Then I get comfy drift off and then the next thing I have a knee or an elbow in my back or get woken up by his snoring. So now, the first hint of any of it and I am off to the spare room as I need my sleep. I have three other kids to look after and I am up at 6.30 every morning, so just wanted to say I know how you feel :hugs: xxxx

Unfortunatly we don't have a spare bed atm, the nursery and spare bedroom still need alot of work on, so sofa was my only option lol.
Will get the mats and sleeping bag for the next time he's off work at night then we should be ok if we have more bad nights x

Same here ladies - men eh! I find that where I am getting up a couple of times in the night for a wee I have difficulty getting back to sleep cos of the snoring - never used to get up at all in the night before so I always end up in the spare room around 3am every morning.......at least we go to bed together I guess....

What about getting a blow up bed hun?? - some of them are actually quite comfy - you could leave it blown up and propped up in your spare room???
