Night terrors!

hiya wonder if any mums have or are dealing with this. Last night Holly i think had a night terror aling with sleep walking. she was going mad screming no no no and would not let me comfort her. like she was frightened of me. we have had a few major changes, moving house me being pregnant and developmentally she has grown up loads in last few weeks. its just so hard to be unable to do anything!

Aww, I am sorry to hear you and your dd are going through this. It certainly sounds like night terrors to me.

My oldest dd has had them a few times but not as bad as your lo. My brother used to get them more frequently than my dd does. He was the same, we couldn't hold him, we just had to sit and talk to him until he calmed down. I think they lasted about 6 - 12 months and they got less as time went on before eventually they stopped altogether. We were always told the Golden Rule was not to try and wake them, just sit and talk to them till they calm down.

It's very scary though, I hate seeing my dd like it.
