Night times all going wrong all of a sudden !!!

SO dont get me wrong...we havent a routine or bedtime yet ....but....

Miller has always been great through the night. WE co sleep and breast feed.

He doesnt usually wake up...he just stirs when hes ready for a feed which has been anything from between 3-6 hrs........BRILL !

But....for the last 2 nights he is stirring every bloomin hour to hour and a half !!

Whats going off ??

Also...he has been a bitstrange during the day....whining for about an hour which leads to screaming followed by sleep ??

hes still on infacol for colic.....but i dont think this is his tummy

Any ideas ???

growth spurt! If you google growth spurts babies you'll see that there are quite a few! It will stop!

It's the 4 month sleep regression.
Read this! (it's a tough period and in our experience was the worst of all the growth spurts as it's more brain growth than body). For us it lasted about a week. Went from sleeping through nearly to waking up at almost new born intervals.

Same here when I was pointed towards it when we were going through it. Seemed like we were just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after all those crap nights in the early days, only to be plunged back into it!
It is very very very tough and you really do have to revert back to sleeping when they do for a while otherwise you will just flake out.
What was spot on for us in the article was after it had finished and Frances slept for britain. A very very peaceful few days for all of us to recover. Then it reverted back to slightly better than before the waking started. She also rolled over for the first time after her big sleep days!
So watch out for new skills once it's done!
