Nipple-blanching/vasospasm and thrush - feel the same?

A long shot, but I wondered if anyone has had both vasospasm and thrush. Did they feel comparable?

Does anyone know if it is normal for vasospasm pain to change/increase over time?

I think I had both but they were related (mainly had them at the same time). With the blanching I would get a sudden intense pain in my nipple and if I looked at it, it had gone white. With the thrush, it was a more constant pain, whether my nipple was white or not.
