Can't believe I'm having to deal with this already!!!  :growlmad: :nope:

I thought i saw a little insecty thing in LO's hair the other day (he has a long, full head of hair) so I scraped it out and just htought it was something from teh garden. Earlier I noticed there were a few little black bits ... noticed they were moving

So he had his bath, I put loads of conditioner on his hair and a drop of tea tree oil, then combed it through and found loads of the little *******s :grr: i dont have a 'nit comb' though, I'll get one in the morning - we're flipping going away in the morning though for a long weekend!

I dont understand how he's got them though - I thought they only got passed through direct contact with hair? I read they cant jump or fly to get transferred? And he hasnt really seen any other kids (except his cousins yesterday)

Im itching like mad now ... urrrgh I hate things like this! I hadnt banked on having to deal with this for years yet!

Eeek. Vile little critters. I'm dreading this now H is at nursery. :hugs:

OMG you poor thing. I confess i had no idea they could get nits so young but i guess if they have hair then why not...?!

I really feel for you though as it's horrible to deal with :hugs:

Also, i am itching now too

Hmmm if he had a lot, he must have got them a while ago as it seems they have spread.

I comb my kids every 2 days as i darent risk them getting them! and schools and nurseries are rife! even our next door neighbours kids are always crawling!!

just remember to comb yours and ohs hair too! get a metal comb

Try having an afro and getting the little beasts out! It hurt, real bad :hissy:

But :hugs: to u. Nasty little buggers

oh no! poor thing! I havent heard of such a LO getting them :hugs: my girls had them constantly in infant school. Horrible things. just keep combing xx

Don't feel bad hun. I noticed head lice in my LO's hair a week ago. They were not that bad, but I am still finding nits every now and then still. They are clingy little buggers.
