No AF, given clomid, now spotting, panicking!

Hello ladies!

I hadn't had a period since April 11, I went to see the doctor and told them I wanted to be more aggressive with trying. She said they could treat me like I was on CD5 and start me on 100mg Clomid. I'm now on CD8 and I started to bleed slightly when I wipe. I'm starting to panic, is this ok? I'm supposed to start testing on Tuesday with a follow up Friday. Anyone else go through something similar?

Honestly I have never heard of that Clomid protocol before, is this an RE or an OBGYN? From my personal experience with Clomid and reading many other women's stories if your period does not come naturally the doc usually prescribed progesterone or a birth control pack to get a withdrawal bleed and then start Clomid with a fresh cycle. Most women seem to do it CD3-7 or 5-9 depending on your specific fertility issues. What CD were you on when they started the Clomid?
