no babbling

alright, the baby club says the first few months after birth which is not my 10 month old so i'll post in the toddler section.
but my question is, did your LO stop babbling around 9.5 mos? he used to walk around saying mama and dada all day. then one day he just kinda stopped. now he screams and grunts and no more mama or dada. sometimes it sounds like he says "hi" back so now i'm trying to talk to him more to try and get him to babble back but there's nothing. just a blank face looking at me while i look like an idiot
you think he's at the stage where he's taking in the words and just collecting them?

Izzy stopped for a while too, it was whilst she was trying to master crawling, and then after she did she started babbling again, and now doesn stop!!! Is there something he is trying to do? i think they concentrate on one thing at a time x

he's been trying to walk lately. he just learned how to stand on his own about 2 weeks ago. and has only taken like 1 step on his own. and he finally mastered going up the stairs (gate bought yesterday! lol). other than that i cant think of anything else

Lilli hasn't said Mama in FOREVER! she used to say it all the time when she was about 9 months.... now she's 15 months and no "Mama".

She knows who I am, and her daddy... she just doesn't call for us. I figure its because she knows a yelp will get me there in time anyways.
