My LO is 4 weeks old and normally I have all the patience in the world for him. He usually breastfeeds every hour, day and night which I'm used to now and sleep is something of a memory to me now. Today though, he keeps coming on to feed, suckles for 10 mins and then falls asleep, so I put him down so that I can either get housework done, eat something or snooze myself and he wakes up either straight away, or at least within 15 minutes and screams to be fed again! I try to wake him enough to continue feeding before putting him down but he's dead to the world then. I just have no patience with him today. His dad has buggered of to Poland for 4 days so I've noone I can pass him to, not that it would help as I'd still have to be the one to feed him.
I'm now attempting some skin on skin in the hope it might calm us both and having come off the nipple he's now bashing his head against me looking for the boob yet again!

Poor you, (((hugs))))
Sounds like he is going through a growth spurt, and unfortunately there is nothing to do but ride it out. All the suckling will do wonders for your supply. It will have passed in a coupe of days, and you might find he will not need to feed quite so frequently.
Do you co-sleep? that helped me no end in the early days when Tobi fed every hour and a half.

Thomas is more of a grazer too. But literally the last couple of days and nights he has not been off my boob and I have hardly got anything done!! Its very stressfull, luckily my dh is still off of work, but when I am the one who is doing all the feeding there is not much they can do anyway. But huge hugs hun, I can not believe how tiring having a baby is!

oh i do feel for you. My son isn't a grazer but more of a 4 course meal kind of man - my husband calls me the buffet cart (nice!) but he will stay on for hours when in a growth spurt (like today) and then the same as you wont stay in his moses basket for more than 15 mins (but will sleep on me for longer) so i end up in the same boat of being tied to the sofa. I get nothing done at all. Could you try a wrap so that you can feed hands free (not tried it myself but i use a baby bjorn to get him to sleep without tying me to the couch). Hang in there, it will pass soon (so i'm told!!!). xx
