Hi ladies.

I recently found out I was pregnant when I used a FRER at 8dpo. The line was incredibly faint, I've never had anything like it. With my first pregnancy I got a positive at 9dpo, and by 10dpo it was confirmed when the test got darker.

This time however, I took tests at 8, 9 and 10dpo, using FRERs and Wondfos. Today's FRER (10dpo) was slightly more noticeable than 9dpo but also a squinter. The Wondfos were hardly even visible, if I hadn't known better I'd consider it a negative. I just want to know, is this normal? I realize every pregnancy is different, but this is really unexpected. FWIW I am experiencing my usual pregnancy symptoms (headache, nausea, skin breakouts).

IDK if it helps, but here's an example of what my test line looked like:

This isn't my pic, I pulled it off Google, but my test from today looked like it. I only had a 2 or 3h urine hold when I took it, and it was slightly more noticeable than yesterday's, but it wasn't very convincing. I have to hold it up to natural light and look closely to see it. That does not sound right for a 10dpo line! Idk if it helps but my period arrives on 11dpo, so I felt it should be darker by now, especially considering I'm a day from my expected period.

ATM I don't know what to expect. I'm leaning towards chemical because I feel it should have gotten darker already. I'm making an appointment tomorrow to get bloodwork done but that's all I can do for now. :(

It can take over two days to get darker, I would try not to worry yet. I hope it gets dark for you soon. Good luck xxx:hugs:

With this pg, I got my very faint BFP at 7 dpo, NOTHING at 8 or 9 dpo, and then another faint pos at10 dpo. Every pg is different , and it can depend a lot on how dilute your urine is, what time of day u test, ect. I wouldn't worry about it, though I know it's hard. GL!!

Thank you gals. :hugs:

Unfortunately I took another FRER this morning at 11dpo with FMU. The line has stayed extremely faint and now I'm getting dull cramps. I'm pretty confident this is a CP. We'll be trying again though.

sorry hun. that is what happened with my chemical pregnancy too.

I hope it isn't a CP. My test with my daughter looked exactly the same (https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/trying-to-conceive/893806-would-you-test-again.html), it stayed that light for days.
