Hey ladies .... :coffee:

I'm so so tired. I finally fell asleep at 2am, and got back up at 4am, and now 6am. Ugh, i just do not get it. I know i can't really mention it to my doctor, i mean what can he do anyway? I just am so exhausted. I don't get why i can't rest... i have a son that will be three in december and all he does is RUN RUN RUN... he's constantly hyper.. that's just his personality. I'm so sick of not getting sleep! :growlmad: it's AWFUL.......

Please tell me someone else is in the same boat as me and i'm not alone. Did you speak to your doctor about it? Are you taking anything to aid in sleep? Thanks ladies.... i'm probably over reacting...but i need my sleep

All opinions welcome .. thanks in advance.. :hugs:

xoxx :flower:

Hey hun,
Didnt wanna read and run Ive no toddlers to be running after but I do have to get up for work every morning @ 7 and dont get back til 6 in Afternoon.
I can't sleep at night either tossing and turnign because im MASSIVE and nothing feels comfortable.
I have to get p to pee ALL THE TIME. its so frustrating
I feel your pain

I am going to my MW today and I am asking for something something to help me get some sleep. I doubt she can do naything but it's worth a shot.
Sorry if my speelling all voer place -Lack of sleep ha ha

I know exactly how u feel I have a son who sounds similar to yours who's going to be 2 in November! And I'm up all hours of the night wide awake and it's driving me crazy, but I remember it was like this last time it's our bodies preparing us for when baby comes along it's hard I know but at least it's gently easing us in!! I haven't found any remedies really but I nap when my son takes his nap and I guess that helps me through the rest of the day!sorry not much advice just know that your not alone :)

:flower: thanks for replying hun.. i appreciate it. I think you are right. One of my close BnB friends and i were having a conversation this morning and she was saying the same thing. i can't remember w/ my son....but it seems like i slept a little better with him and i was SO huge with him. idk :nope:

Im the same im so tired

I go off to sleep pretty easy about half 11 then im wide awake from 3.30 with restless legs grr i hate it! I manage to go back off about 6 then have to get up at 7 take the kids to school and come home and look after a 3 year old i need sleeep lol!! Ive even ordered all the disney kids channels on sky so that i can have a snooze at lunchtime god i feel like such a bad mother :nope:

Yes, I'm the same. And I don't even have any children to look after!

I now get up 3 times in the night for the toilet. Sometimes I can get straight back to sleep and other times I'm just wide awake for hours afterwards. I seem to have one decent night of sleep followed by one terrible night. To be honest, I didn't even think of mentioning it to my MW. I just assumed it was normal. I'm just focusing on the end of this month when I finish work and can at least nap during the day!

i know feel really guilty tho but it keeps him occupied for an hour lol

Lol love it!! I have to admit i sit there and stare at my oh snorning away and i just wanna stick my fingers up his nose :haha:

You're definitely not the only one. I have not had a decent nights sleep in over 5 wks. Thankfully I've started my mat leave this week, so hopefully will be able to get in a nap during the day.

I also look at my current lack of sleep as nature's way of preparing you for the sleep deprivation that comes with a new baby. I can't imagine going from a full 8 hrs sleep to only sleeping a few hours a night AND having to care for a baby. At least this way, I'm already used to not getting decent sleep.

I understand how frustrating and truly exhausting it is, but would be very hesitant to 'take something'.

I'm the same.
I gave up work early because of exhaustion.
Last night was the first semi decent sleep I've had in ages. I'm functioning on empty.
I have two very boisterous kids but I'm lucky that at least they are at school in the day. I worry though that my dh is having to pick up too much slack when he comes in from work so instead of resting today I am continuing gutting the house, but my gem of a mother dropped in and has gone to get me lunch and a few bits and bobs that I need for dinner :)
I can't wait until LO gets here so I can have maybe a few hours uninterrupted sleep. You know it's bad when you know you'll get more sleep with a newborn than without

PS: I had a 2 1/2 year old last time round and I'm sure the TV did a fair share of babysitting. It's ok, once LO gets here you can go back to rationing it

I've been off and on with the sleeping. The last couple nights, I'm waking up three times to go to the bathroom, everytime I roll over and have adjust the pillows between my knees. My sinus' have been acting up at night, so I keep waking up not being able to breathe and yesterday morning I sneezed and somehow managed to pull something in my neck. Ah, the joys.

yep, im the same, ive not slept properly since i was about 20 weeks. Not only am i up about 5 times a night to pee but i have spd too and im in so much pain. Normally manage to drop of at about midnight then up every so often to pee, by about 4ish, thats it, i lie awake waiting for my dh's alarm to go off at 6.30. Im so so tired.
Cant wait for lo to arrive so at least the sleep i do get will be comfortable sleep.

i have not slept one wink all night long. not at all. and it is now 7:16am here. i tried moving to the couch, then moving to our king sized bed. then back to the couch. then making it super cold in here and dark. my eyes hurt so bad and i am miserable. :( :( :(

I'm the same, I'm usually in bed for 10.30 after a cup of tea or horlicks, I've no probs getting to sleep its the constant waking that annoys me, I wake at least twice for a wee or with heart burn then it takes me ages - sometimes hours to get back off. To make things worse my hubby gets up for work at 4.30 so as I'm just nodding off he wakes me up! Grrr

i lay down, one hour until i can sleep. tossing and turning. itchy, baby kicking, back hurting etc... then i finally get to sleep and she kicks and i wake and it takes another ten minutes to get back to sleep. then i sleep for an hour, get up to pee, go back to sleep, wake up two hours later to pee, go back to sleep and this goes on seriously the entire night. it's hellish.
if you have kids, i have no idea what to tell you. If you don't have kids, sleep as much as you can whenever you want because if you're sleeping this awful at night you are totally entitled to sleep all day. haha

Im kinda in same boat as you
My son will b 3 in dec and he one of the most hyperactive child u will ever meet ! LOL he loud, fast and well MAD lol.
He dont like to sleep at night much either
(other night he went to bed at 8 woke up a 2am stayed awake till 5am then i had to wake him for nursery at 8am!)
So in night time Im up with him gettin his bottles, givin him a kiss, findin his dummy he has "lost" (more like thrown across the room). im also gettin up to go wee alot AND im in a deep sleep turn over BAM pain in back
IM AWAKE
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
And i do this all alone :(
So huni i feel ur pain and it wont be like this forever!

I havent been sleeping either, ugh, Im so tired of being tired, not to mention the boring hours on end of laying awake listening to hubby snore away.
