Noisy car? Will it be a problem????

Hi everyone!!

Im just after some advice/opinions if anyone can help!! And I'll Say sorry now
If I've posted this In the wrong section!!

Basically I drive a slightly modified car, one of the mods being a exhaust system
My only concern is that it will irritate our bubbeee who is due in 8 weeks tomorrow!!

It's not really loud like some cars you see and you can happily have a conversion without raising your voice
If you know what i mean it's just like a background noise!!

I'm just worried that it will be too loud for bubbeee so wanted a second opinion

Do you think I should get it changed or will it be ok?? I will happily do what's best for bubbee which is why I want to see what people think as it's our first so not experienced this before

Does anyone else drive a car that's got a noisy exhaust if you do how do you find it??

Main reason I'm asking is it's going to cost me allot of money to make it quiter so thought I'd see if I'm just being paranoid or not first lol

Ive never had a problem with kyle in any car we have been in and some of them are pretty loud

That's exactly the reply I was hoping for

Only got a Vw polo with a Gt engine! But with bike carbs 421 mani and straight through exhaust it's a but louder than standard and short ratio gearbox don't help much lol but drove sensible it is not that bad at all!!

That's what I drive don't get me wrong I love my car how it is but if I had to change for our Bubbeeees sake I would!!

The only thing that would bother me with your car is the safety rating. Because it's quite old it wouldn't hold up very well if heaven forbid anyone crashes into you. We've got 4 Saxo's but i wouldn't let Hollie in them because of how weak they are, a crash at 30mph would probably kill her. Newer cars usually have a much higher safety rating she'd probably still be asleep in a 30mph crash lol. Just my 2 pence.

And yeah I know what you mean about safety but as it is at the moment
I really can't afford another car but it's something I have looked into and am going to probably change cars at some point In The future!!

Plus my other half drives aswell and has her own car which we will be using 70% of the time!! Or as much as we can but when we can't we will use mine Which is why I was asking I completely understand where your coming from tho and the thought has crossed my mind more than once!!

Snap, me too, awesome vehicle and my lo loves the noise, starts whingeing when we are stopped at traffic lights!
What colour is yours? Mine is a White facelift model

Omg awesome vehicle indeed! I got a Orange one! haha my LO does that too, she hates it when it's not moving Think Hollie will be a right little petrolhead when she's older!!

my oh has a civic type r with a super charger. and god knows what other mods. its loud when we just drive normal (my hairdryer sounds better haha) but everytime he puts his foot down and turbo kicks in. i get my ass kicked from within. so im dreading day trips out. so not sure on this one but if my bubba doesnt like it in the womb, doubt she'll be happy with petrol head daddy when she arrives.

Im sure its fine, i wouldnt worry yourself about it, its not as if its a really invasive noise, its just a steady continuous "burble" for want of a better word.

The noise can actually be quite soothing!!
