For about a week I have been getting little twinges in my lower abdomen and occasional mild (very mild) cramps which I had earlier in pregnancy but they seem to have returned now. Also, I have had increased discharge that is really watery and clear. It comes out on my underwear but does not soak to my pants or anything.
I have been concerned about this and I have called my GP who sent me to ER, where I waited over 8 hours (2 in a exam room just waiting to have a test done) before I left because I was told it would take at least 5 more hours to get to me because I was bottom priority.
I called my OBGYN who told me is a wanted to be looked at I would have to go to ER.
I thought I had a GP and OBGYN to help me out. Was I wrong about that?

Are my symptoms normal? I just want to know that the baby is safe and I can't handle being pushed around like this. I am exhausted and I don't want to worry anymore.

It is common to have mild cramps during pregnancy, because your uterus is growing and moving around your insides to make room for the baby. Discharge, even watery/clear is also normal, as long as there is no itching or odor.

Twinges and a feeling of muscle twitches, at 17 weeks is probably your little baby moving around! :)

I wouldn't worry, if something is wrong you will usually know it. The cramping would not be mild by any means.

I agree, totally normal! You experience cramps when your uterus is expanding, consider it a good thing that your baby is growing :) The discharge is also normal! But if you really don't feel right trust your gut ave make a Dr appointment. Congrats on the wee one!!
