Just wanted to ask you lovely ladies a quick question, I had my natural m/c on the 5th Nov and i am still bleeding and wanted re-assurance this is pefectly normal.

I am still going to hospital for scans, next is monday as there is still what appears to be a pocket of blood and my lining is still thickened. Hoping i don't need a d&c as me and hubby really want to get on with TTC.

Any advice would be lovely xx

Everyone's miscarriage is a bit different. My bleeding/spotting stopped after 5 days but I was told it could last 7-10 days even. If there is still tissue in your uterus it is something to definitely take care of. They may make you take pills first to aid the uterus in cramping and releasing the tissue. If a DandC is your choice (and I am sorry that you would have to go through that) but if the doctors feel it is necessary I would accept it because you wouldn't want to risk infection if tissue remains in the uterus. Many women here have had the procedure and had good outcomes.

Every one is different, Ive had 6 and they've all been different, my most recent was last Saturday and I bleed til yesterday, I thought it had stopped, but it started again this morning. I also had a faint positive test this morning too, so there must still be something there. I'll leave it a few days then go to the docs for a scan incase of infection. It might be a good idea for you to have a D&C, rather than letting it go away itself, just incase you do get an infection. I'm sorry for you loss xx

My bleeding last 2.5 weeks or so... Everyone is different hun.

I still had a thickened lining after my ectopic.... Doubt I do now though as my AF this month was major so think it cleared out.

Get the scan and take the medical advice. May be a D&C is something you may have to have.

I had a D&C on Nov 2nd and I'm still bleeding.
