Nose bleeds after vomiting TMI

Hi! I'm 10 weeks and for the past week or so, I have been getting small nose bleeds after vomiting, from morning sickness. It's such a pain because not only am I throwing up, but TMI Warning...blood splatters everywhere. Why does this happen? Is it normal? It's only on one side. Thanks

It's the pressure from vomiting.

I get that a lot, it's from all the straining we do when we're sick, if you vomit a lot your whole throat is very agitated and a little raw. It is easy to burst tiny blood vessels when you throw up, especially if they tend to be of the 'violently ill' category.

Yeah they are 'violently ill' unfortunately

I sympathize, despite trying to keep my bladder as empty as possible, whenever I am sick it is so violent and strained that I usually wet myself. (tmi) :/
