I feel really tired and breathless today and kinda out of sorts. I also have a stitchy pain in the right side of bump. Think that is just from the way baby is lying though.
I am seeing my gp tomorrow anyway and will mention it to her. Not sure if I just did a bit too much walking this morning or if there is something else going on.
Anyone else had tiredness and breathlessness? Feels like all my limbs are heavy, like there is no energy getting to them, if that makes sense.

I feel under the weather majorly. Not breathless. But even getting dressed and putting make up was so much effort this morning, I needed another cup of tea afterwards :haha:

Hope you feel better soon, get the GP to check your blood pressure.
I saw my GP today but unrelated. I was checked on Friday BP etc, that was fine.

My ob recommends lying on my side whenever I get the breathless, lightheaded feeling, which is normal. She says it increases blood flow to brain. Take sips of water out of a straw and keep yourself hydrated. I also get chest palpitations, but anxiety I know is part of the overall feeling of unease. Try to relax.

The tiredness could be that you need your iron levels checked. Mine were a bit low.

I'm not feeling great myself. Lots of lower back pains, thought I needed a BM (sorry TMI) but that hasn't solved it. Feeling a bite ugh in general. Midwife tomorrow though so will mention it to her.
Hope you ladies all feel better soon, breathlessness sounds like no fun :(

Thanks for the replies. Sorry to hear you guys are feeling rubish too.
I did go lie down on my side. The breathlessness did ease off. Have acid reflux now though. Oh well. If its not one thing.....
I have been trying to keep well hydrated. Though I sometimes forget.
I didn't think about iron levels. I was 20 weeks last time it was checked. Could very well be that. Will ask my gp.
My BP is normally fairly low, though it has gone up a bit since third tri. My gp will check that too tomorrow.
Thanks again and hopefully we will all be feeling better soon.

I used to be able to run 6 miles no problem. Now I can't get up the stairs without me sounding like the unfittest person ever. Bloody awful as I have to lie down as i feel faint x

Oh...so are the woes of the third trimester! I wouldn't be concerned about any of how you're feeling. Unfortunately, this is what the homestretch feels like! This is baby #3 for me, and with the first two I analyzed all my terrible symptoms and asked the midwife about everything. This time I realize the symptoms are what they are, and they're not getting better until this little one shows up!

Well this is my 4th. I know pregnancy does have its symptoms and fatigue is one of them and I have been breathless after climbing stairs etc in previous pregnacies and in this one but today was a lot worse.

Hey Willo. I'm due the same day as you. I totally know how you feel. I feel huge and uncomfortable. Between breathlessness, heartburn, cramping and back pain I have trouble sleeping and moving around in general. Only 3 more weeks of work to go luckily! Hang in there.

I'm feeling considerably better after a nights sleep though did have a lot of back pain in the night too. Probably just overdid it yesterday as it's a crazy week in work.

Sorry you're not feeling well willo :hugs:
Definitely get your iron checked anyway. And try take it easy for a few days if you can. Feel better soon!

Thank you all. Still feeling tired and breathless. Gp says it is my iron as I look paler than usual. Iron tablets and me don't get on very well but she has suggested maybe taking every 2nd or 3rd day... Upping green veg, red meat and other iron rich foods.... Have to go back in 2 weeks and she wants to do a blood count then. She couldn't do it today as they only draw blood in the mornings so it can be sent off to the lab.
