Normally I have a 32 day cycle. I just started using opks and fertility friend. I do not temp. CB opk and ff said I ovulated on Feb 27th. Was supposed to start AF on March 14. I have taken free and it was negativem. CB opk gave me flashing smiley face. What on earth is going on? I'm not supposed to ovulate until the 30th.
So my questions are dis I ovulate late and possibly pregnant ?
Did I not ovulate and just skipping my period for March?
I am just so confused.

Are you just using OPK's to track your ovulation, or are you also using other signs?

In November, before I starting charting my bbt, my OPK marked my ovulation, and I expected my period 14 days later. And it didn't come. I was so excited, I ran out and bought FRER pregnancy tests, just to have AF show up in the morning.

Supposedly, your luteal phase is constant. So instead of having an extended luteal phase, you might have had an LH surge, but failed to ovulate. Did you keep testing after you got a positive OPK? Sometimes, your body will gear up to ovulate, but then delay it, and then try again some days later.

The temperature shift when you're tracking your bbt can show when ovulation occured, but temping is not for everyone.

I'd say wait a few days, and if no period, test again!
Good Luck!!

I was just using CB opk and fertility friend app. I didn't keep using the opks because the CB instructions said I could stop once I got the solid smiley face. I have no symptoms. CP is high and very hard to reach.

High cervix could be a good sign. Test again in a few days maybe?

Good luck!

Thank you. Does everyone's cervix move? I know that is a silly question but I had dh ahem check because it was too high for me and his middle finger barely touched it. He said it was in the same position as always. The wait is maddening ha ha.

This is cycle day 40. I would surely think if I was pregnant I would get a positive by now? No?

I heard some people don't test positive for a while.
Have you been keeping track of your cycles for a long time? Over a year?
I have a few long cycles a year (up to 48 days), so you could be having a longer cycle.

To my understanding, yes, everyone's cervix moves to open and close during fertile time.

Got my AF this morning. Thank you for your help. Looks like like it must just be a long cycle :)

I'm virtually in the exact same boat, except I gave up temping and OPK's last month due to us being diagnosed with male factor infertility (motility and morphology issues), and February's AF devastated me. I got super sick with some sort of respriratory virus right after AF last month (had AF 2/12-2-16, got sick 2-20-possibly now). I started feeling totally better about a week ago, but now my sinus's are burning again as is my throat with a swollen/infected looking tonsil and lymph node. AF should have hit for me this month on 3/14, but I totally missed AF am now on CD40. Not really sure when I O'd or if I O'd last month, guessing that being so sick caused me not to O.

My HPT's and OPK's have both been negative, I called my OBGYN and asked if I need to come in for a blood test in order to get progesterone pills and was told that due to us already being referred to the infertility specialist, there was nothing she could do for me and that I just need to call the infertility clinic and make an appointment. It's super frustrating as we're putting off making any appointments with the fertility clinic due to DH having a hernia that will more than likely need operated on first. *sigh*

Oh well. Going to our PCP today to get DH's hernia looked at & my tonsil/recurrent ick looked at. Maybe I can convince him to do a bloods.

Sorry to hear about AF! Next time, gadget!

LinkedLady, I hope you get in with the fertility specialist soon. Best of luck.
