Not Well after first Jabs

Hi my LO had his jabs on wednesday and has been poorly ever since. Yesterday afternoon his temp went up to 38 and he was very upset and he hardly ever fusses so i took him to the doctors who said his temp was quite high and to keep an eye on it give calpol etc and if it got any higher to take to hospital. His Temp went down and was back up to over 38 last night and has been the same again today. Did anyone have similar thing happen with their LOs? How long were they poorly for? Thanks

My LO was really hot and clammy for about 3 days and grumpy for 5 days. I just put her in a vest and gave her several baths a day coz that helped. I gave her calpol and when she was real hot i put a damp luke warm flannel. It took about 5 days for her to be back to normal xx

my LO was only unwell for 24 hours after his jabs. Every baby reacts differently. Just calpol, cuddles and keep him cool. And if you get worried speak to NHS direct, who will reasure you.
