Ok so I went for my second anomaly scan last week (22 weeks) and noticed that in the notes box she marked the NT at being 4mm
I read that any measurement taken after I think it was 16 weeks means nothing but I have seen some measurements on here that say theirs was below 2mm at around 13 weeks.
The sonograther mentioned downs to me a couple of times during the scan, once while doing it asking if I had the triple test etc and then at the end said that this scan wasn't to confirm downs. I hadn't mentioned it once. It started bothering me and then seeing the measurements that some had at 13 weeks wondering if I should be concerned at all? I know I am 22 weeks but with the measurement being 4mm and the sonographer just mentioning downs out of the blue I feel a bit concerned now.

Try not to worry Fossey hun i know easier said than done .
But with my First Layla , They noticed her Neck measurments where abnormally above the average range , And the Doctors were rushing me in for extra scans and Making a real big thing of letting me know what they thought .
So iam sure if they was worried they would have had you straight to a doctor to have a chat and discuss what they think hun , Ohhh and My daughter was healthy and no sign of a big neck once born :) .
    Good luck . xxxxx .

Baby will be much bigger now anyway so therefore the measurements will be bigger....if they had any concerns I'm sure they would have mentioned it and discussed further scans and tests:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

You cant make any kind of analysis on NT measurements after 13+6 - thats why you have to have the tests doing between 10 wks and that point.

Dont worry - if they were worried they would have said too.

I asked my MW today about this and even she didn't know so she called the sonographer up while I was there and we sat and waited for a call back. Took forever so she called again and scan woman had just taken another lady into be scanned so she said she'd chase it up and ring me. Got a call back this afternoon to say that she had done some digging and as long as it is under 10mm at my stage its OK.
PHEWWW I still know its poss to still have issues with anything *touches wood I don't* but at least that's a weight off my mind!
