Hi,
I am freaking out here slightly, thanks again google
So, I went for my NT scan and bloods on 9th jan at 11wks+5. The scan went well, a very lively bubs. The results came back as screen negative at 1:160, which I was happy with given my age (38). I thought no more of it. Then I checked again and the nuchal measurement was only 1.0mm and I started to wonder why my risk was 1:160 if the measurement was so small. Cue google!
My bloods were Free b hcg: 3.18 MoM and PAPP-A: 0.60
From what I have read that both would ideally be around 1.0, so one is high and the other is low. I have read that these can both cause issues in pregnancy and the low PAPP-A can result in pre eclampsia, pre term birth and worse.
Luckily I see my midwife tomorrow as I feel sick now with worry. Anyone have any advice or experiences to share? Would really appreciate some words of wisdom xxx
