Number of children

My LO is only a month old and already MIL is talking about when we start trying for our next one in the new year!

Is it just my MIL or do all MILs want us to spend our whole lives pregnant?!

I wish my MIL was like yours! I have had just had number 2 and my SIL is preg with her second now! When my MIL found out about my SIL she (knowing i want 4) turned round to me and said 'Please give us next year off! No babies next year! We will have to take out a second mortgage!'
Now i know you would initially think this was a joke but she was very serious and has infact said it since! And the mortgage bit pee'd me off a little because apart from small birthday and christmas presesnts and the odd item of sale clothing here and there the grand children haven't cost them anything! They didn't buy us a cot or pram or anything?
Can we swap xx

My MIL & mom r the same They wanted me to get pregnant after the 1st 6 wks But as I had a CS, now they want me to TTC when LO is 1 yr. Me & DH want to wait until LO is 3 yrs.

MIL's are hard work full stop and will never be happy! Hope I'm not a fretting MIL when Harry gets married!

My MIL was gutted when my DH had the snip! She kept saying "in a few years when the kids are older I bet you'll have another baby". She absolutely adores her Grandchildren though, we have 4 and SIL has 2.
