How much furniture do you have in your LO's room and what sort of bits do you have?

Currently for LO we have 2 chest of drawers, a built in wardrobe, changing table with drawers and a cotbed. He doesn't use his room yet as he's still in with us, but I'm obsessed with storage and decluttering and I'm feeling he doesn't really need 2 chests of drawers. I figure he could keep one, have all socks/hats etc in the top 2 drawers, and then have jeans, trousers, babygrows, vests, bodysuits etc in the remaining drawers, with tops and other stuff hanging up in his wardrobe. The changing table drawers has the top one stuffed with nappies/wipes etc, and the bottom two have sheets and blankets in varying sizes (fitted sheets for his crib and also cotbed, plus fitted sheets for his pram etc etc).. I don't even remember what's in the second chest of drawers but it's full with things that we don't use (at least on a daily basis!)

Would just the 1 chest of drawers be enough? What all do you ladies have in your LO's rooms? How on earth do people manage enough storage for 2 children that share a room? :haha:

We have his wardrobe full of clothes - tops, jeans etc, a chest of drawers - blankets in bottom drawer, socks, hats & vests in second drawer and pjs and sleepsuits in the top drawer. Then he has a toy chest, a shelf with a few cute keep sakes on and him cotbed with drawers underneath for storage. We wouldn't need a second set of drawers x

Eta - the drawers under the cot only have in items of clothing that don't fit that we're keeping (first outfit etc) and a few other bits that could easily be stored elsewhere.

My daughter has a small bedroom she has a slim storage unit with about five floral boxes in it for toy storage she has a shelf. Cot bed and a big chest of drawers has about five drawers we use all of them. Her wardrobe is in the second bedroom it's a big fitted in one and no one is in that bedroom yet (expecting number 2) then will transition her in to there x

A cotbed, a wardrobe and a rocking chair. All her clothes easily fit in the cupboard portion of the wardrobe and the first drawer. We use 1 drawer for towels and the other is empty. I store linens in the airing cupboard and then nappies, wipes, medicines in bins on top of the wardrobe.

We have a closet will all her outfits, sleepers, and jackets. The dresser has 5 drawers holding socks, headbands, pants, bibs, burp rags, onesies, and heavier suits for the cold. I have a two shelf dresser holding books. A rocking chair. The crib with a drawer underneath which has blankets. I also have a toy organizer. Then a little stand with some pictures on it (it's where we run our internet from)

Wardrobe, with two rails in. This has tops and trousers hanging on the top rail, and dresses and jackets hanging on the bottom. The base is storage for boxes, and kept items. On top of wardrobe are 3 suitcases.

Then 2 bed side chests (two draws each) stacked on top of each other, each draw has socks, then tights, then knickers, then kept items (small baby clothes e.g).

Cotbed, with storage box underneath for pjs, Sleepsuits and bodysuits. Then a nice wicker basket with nappies & wipes stored in.

Chest of drawers, bookshelf which also has some of our stuff on it lol, change table, cot bed, tiny chest of drawers. Currently we have a box of clothes don't fit anymore too :(

A crib. He shares with DD so their room is small. They just share a closet.

We have a crib, a small bookcase, and a chest in baby's room. When I babysat and nannied, I very rarely used the changing table (usually just a changing mat on the floor), and there's probably only been a couple times I wished we had one - they take up too much space, I think.

The closet is full of my husband's clothes for the most part, though we do have a few baby button downs hanging in the closet, and a bag of clothes that baby doesn't fit into yet.

We have a crib, a dresser, a glider and one book shelf. The crib is huge and I really didn't want to purchase it, but DH's parents insisted. Whatever. At our cottage we have a pack n' play, a dresser, a swing and side table. It's all functional.

Cot bed, changing unit which has two shelves underneath which stores toiletries etc on, wicker basket for toys and a wardrobe which has two rails in and two drawers underneath for the clothes x
