Me and Mrs_Random are worried that our potential nursery might be too cold.....has anybody ever used these?

Any good? Didnt want to go out and spoend a fortune so early.

This would also be the first baby related thing we have bought!! :happydance:

Can't get the link to work :(

We were worried about the temp in our nursery too. For roughly £20 (from Tesco, Argos etc) you can get a 'GroEgg'. https://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-4006.aspx

This i have found to be brilliant as you can see at a glance if the room is the right temp. The light is blue if too cold, green if correct, orange if warm and red if too hot...

We use the themometers that stick to the wall in the nursery i work at because its so important to make sure the room is the right temp and we can keep on top of it with a glance.

Some of them even change colour depending on temp so red for too hot green for ok and blue for too cold etc :)

xx

I personally used the little paper one that stuck to the wall and it done a great job lol. You can get them in mothercare for just a few £'s and work just aswell as any expensive thermometer :) xx

edited forst post to work....

Are these the paper onesstickers you mean?

Like this one I used xxx

We just used the ones we got free in various baby packs. I think there was an NHS one in one of the Bounty packs and some baby sleeping bags (Asda I think) come with them too. We've never had a need for anything else. They don't tell you the precise temperature but they tell you within a couple of degrees which is fine.

We also used a GroEgg! Would totally recommend them

I've got a groegg from my sister, haven't used it yet but she really liked it.

hipp organic have just sent me a free wall thermometre in their pack they sent me for signing up to their baby club - love the freebies i can get now :)

Well, the reason I was look at these ones was because they are farely cheap.
I wasnt sure if I should go out and spend lots 'o' money so early. I also havent signed up for any freebies...should I already?

you can join the baby clubs and get leaflets and vouchers and diaries and in the case of hipp - a wall thermometre :)
