nursing bra's

Hubbys gone to buy me a nursing bra but im not sure what size to get?? My boobs havent really grown but are big anyway (38G), but im not sure if they will get bigger in the next couple of months? I want to be organised and get the bra's whilst we have the money. Has anyone else brought theirs and did you get a size bigger?? My 'normal' bra's are starting to leave marks under my boobs so i have told hubby to go for a 40G rather than 38.

You won't know your real size till after the milk comes in so these are good as they're supportive yet flexible. Although having said all that I haven't worn mine yet. I've tried it on but that's not the same thing!

I went and got measured at marks and spencers, they had packs of 2 for £25.

Im normally a 38GG and have gone upto 40J but i bought 2 from mothercare on a 40GG and there was plenty of room in them and sooooo comfy.... maybe not as supportive as i would of like however.

they say you shouldnt really get measured for a nursing bra until about 2 weeks before you are due, personally i just went a couple of weeks after los were born so boobs had a chance to settle - if its just a maternity bra you are after consider just buying underwired as they do the same job - but you have to get measured for it, sending someone else is not reall much use hun - it could be the marks under your boobs are caused by the wires in bras rather than the actual size being out iykwim x

I got a bunch off ebay for a couple of quid in my current/slightly larger size to wear in the mean time and they'll hopefully do for 6 months done the line when boobs start to shrink a bit. I'm going to wait untill bubba is born to buy a larger size if needed and most likely off ebay too. I hate spending a lot of money on bra's as I always seem to trash them quickly! Plus I've huge boobies and they cost a fortune!

thanks everyone. Hubbys just got me a maternity bra in a bigger back size and we are going to pu tthe money to one side for a couple of nursing bra's nearer my due date. Lets just hope she doesnt come early!
