Not sure whe to get nursing bras as I have decided to buy some in the later stages of third tri!

When did other people buy nursing bras? and if you did how many are you meant to buy yourself???

i don't know but i got one yesterday and am wearing it and it is so comfy

i got mine about 2 weeks ago (30 weeks) and i got 2... one underwire, one no underwire... so i can see what is best for me and buy more from there! i'll probably only get one or 2 more.

Thanks guys, I shall buy some soon, especially if they comfy :D

I got told by M&S bra fitting people not to get them untill around 2 weeks before due date as your size will change once you drop and they will fit better for after pregnancy, every one is different though!
It is the only thing I have left to buy so booked in on Wednesday to be fitted!
xxx

I'm leaving it until I'm at least starting to leak  I'd imagine I'll go up a cup size at least so waiting to see what happens.

As for back size, you could just get it to fit you at the bra's furthest out hook and then you can tighten it when baby comes.

I've bought one set (two bras) from M&S because I want something comfy to wear in hospital after the birth. I got cups that were a little on the large side, but even then I suspect I'll have got the size wrong and will need to buy a new one relatively soon after birth.

Re: back size, the M&S lady recommended bra extenders, which cost £5 for 3 (different colours), and clip onto the bra strap at the back, giving you an extra 3 hooks to choose from. The bra strap I've got is therefore more of a 'normal' size for me, and the extender allows me to wear it with my expanded rib cage. Hopefully it'll be adjustable enough for after the birth.

I bought mine on friday 38 + 1. Was told to wait till closer to the birth (38 weeks) as baby drops and rib cage gets smaller - so went for a fitting. am actually slightly smaller now due to baby dropping.

Can't wait till my rib cage gets smaller. I am soooo uncomfy right now. I'm wearing two chest sizes bigger than pre-pregnancy and its still tight. Now why didn't I think of bra extenders :dohh:

I was lucky my sister gave me hers and they fitted perfectly.I had 4 daytime ones and 2 nighttime ones :) x
