My OH was sitting on one of those glider ones in mothercare the other day and said he wanted one (no idea why because i'd be using it, he thinks he's going to be sat on it watching the tv...yeh right :haha:)

Just wondering if any one has/getting on of these? I'm trying to keep my eyes out for a bargain as they are quite expencive :growlmad:

x

I'm getting one! I've been looking for deals too. Make sure you review the brand though, because I've seen some reviews online for crappy ones that don't hold up very long.

ah good plan, never though about that :dohh: I can imagine me sat in a pile of broken chair :haha:

Yeah I was in a place and saw one of these and wanted one. OH wasn't impressed until we were elsewhere and saw one with a metal frame and now suddenly he can see himself sat playing PS3 in it! Yeah right!!!

i thought about a rocking chair, completely forgot about the gliding ones......we dont have mother care here but im sure i could find something in baby on a budget aye?

oooh i want to get a glider, and once OH saw one he wanted it too,im also pretty sure he wanted it for tv/playing games, lol. We are going to baby-on-a-budget too 'celestek89' hope they have them and arnt too expensive!!!

MIL is buying me a second hand one from a girl she works with. She is coming to visit and is bringing it with her in a couple of weeks - I can't wait! It will be MY chair though!!! I have had to stake my claim!!

i too was looking at the nursing chairs but i get really bad motion sickness and the glidint ones or rockers made me feel ill

so decided not to get one, then i went to my sisters and sat on her poang chair from ikea and the foot stool to go with it and i liked it although it gently rocked i didnt feel ill

so we have been and bought one of those could have paid about £50 for the chare and stool if we had the cream but all our stuff is brown so we went for brown one and it cost just over £100 and will go in living room once dont need it for nursing

I think I'm going to get one too. We have a single bed in the nursery at the mo but I want rid of it and a glider chair instead. Really not keen on takng baby into bed if he won't settle so at least I can still get a sit down and 40 winks with one of these beside his cot.

I think theae are a really good idea. Me and my sister were talking about it the other day. I havent priced them yet but I will be doing. Really practical for nursing and trying to get baby to sleep as well.
