O/T advice needed re ebay...

I have bought a second hand travel cot from ebay but not paid or collected yet. Problem is i got it to keep at mil as we all stay there often and she has returned from Manchester today with a travel cot given to her by a family member. Is there any way i can get out of the ebay sale without looking bad?

No not really. If it helps travel cots do make good playpens if you are using it at home

It is worth explaining to the seller - sometimes honesty is the best policy! If it was me I wouldn't be bothered and would just relist it... so they may be the same.

Yeah I'd contact the seller. If I WAS the seller i'd be more pissed off at the non-payment with no explanation than if someone explained a genuine situation, I#d just give someone else a second-chance offer or relist x

Never intended to not pay and was gonna contact and explain was unsure how badly it would reflect on me as was a genuine mistake and i feel bad about it...
