O/T Cerazette

I've been on Cerazette for nearly 6 months and I know irregular bleeding is common, but I thought it would settle down the longer I was on it, if anything it's getting worse - I'm now spotting or bleeding constantly and when I'm bleeding it's like a normal period (not a super light pill period)

To make matters worse I'm going on holiday next week and at this rate I won't be able to swim in the sea or the pool.

Any help? Is there anyone who stuck it out til 6 month and your bleeding completely stopped? I feel like stopping taking it and just hoping i stop bleeding while I'm away!!

Didn't want to R&R hun - I'm back on this and now seem to be spotting constantly. Last time I was on this my periods stopped completely - not so this time!!

Hi Lilly, Sorry you are experiencing this. I was on cerazette for 5 years and only spotted once in the first month and then nothing at all. I took my last one on 18th of june and 34 days later I came on and have just had a 5 day af.

I am not sure if your bleeing is normal but I would maybe consult your doctor if it doesn't stop.

I took this for 3 weeks after Erin was born and it was horrible. I had permanent bleeding and it turned me into a monster! I stopped taking it and was back to normal in 3 days
