O/T Wedding Music

I love pachelbel - i very nearly had it myself!

I walked down the aisle to Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros - sounds obscure but you'd recognise the music if you heard it, was used in the BBC's Blue Planet. I went for the music-only version as didn't fancy hearing Icelandic words!

For our first dance we had 'Where do you go to my lovely' by Peter Sarstedt, was number 1 in the 1970s and all the parents loved it. It featured in the film The Darjeeling Limited.

I'm not set married. But have it all planned out :)

I'll be walking down the isle to Sigur Ros - Staralfur

Our wedding song is really cheesy but there is meaning to it. It will be Wet Wet Wet - Goodnight Girl

i got married in septermber, in a church and the choir sang me down the isle to the wedding by julie rodgers, and our first dance was amazed by lone star, and i danced with my dad to I loved her first, wish i could do it all again

I got married on the 5th April 2008 :cloud9:

We had a big church wedding so i had the traditional wedding march (Pipe Organ)

As a massive ABBA fan and an even bigger Muriel's Wedding fan, I walked down the aisle to Dancing Queen (Bridal Version) and back up the aisle to ABBA's I Do, I Do, I Do

It was totally me- i've never been a traditional girl  I'm so glad that I chose those songs! Watching the wedding DVD back, it's so lovely to see people's reactions to my choices: some laughed, some cried, it was brill!

For our first dance, we went for something more 'normal' and had Rod Stewart's Have I Told You Lately?
