At my last OB appointment I was almost 21 weeks (pregnant with twins), at this time he said he would start seeing me every 2 weeks now. My question for all of you is: 1. At what gestational age did you start your every 2 week OB visits? 2. Do you know what type twins you are having? Di/Di, Mo/Di, Mo/Mo? Thanks everyone for your answers!!!
Ummm... think I started seeing them every 4 weeks at 20 weeks. That probably happened a couple of times and then we saw them every couple of weeks after that. Then weekly near the end. One of each so Di/Di (I think). Never quite sure what that lot stood for!
Thank you for your answers. The di/di stands for dichorion/diamnion. Di stands for two, so you have 2 chorions and 2 amnions, each baby is in an amnionic sac and a chorionic sac. Mo/di means each baby is in their own amnionic sac and then those two sacs are in one chorionic sac. Mo means one, mo=monochorion/di=diamnion. Hope that helps.
